岸です。 先週、うれしいニュースが続きました。
・アリスの復活
・高村薫さんの新作（単行本）の発刊
の2つです。
中3の時にサザンオールスターズがデビューするまで、僕の中で邦楽の中心を占めていたのは、アリスでした。先週、たまたま見ていた朝のＴＶ番組で、そのアリスが28年ぶりに復活したのを知りました。
芸能コーナーのほんの1コマだったのですが、見れば、チンペイさん（谷村新司さん）とベーヤン（堀内孝雄さん）に並んで、キンちゃん（矢沢透さん）の懐かしい姿が映っているではないですか！もう、欣喜雀躍！感激なのか、感動なのか、感慨なのか、感銘なのか、とにかく感・感・感・感・・・と、懐かしさやら嬉しさやら何やらがこみ上げ、止まりません。 http://www.alice2009.com/index2.html
僕がアリスを初めて知ったのは、「冬の稲妻」（略称「ふゆいな」。ちなみに、すぐ後にヒットした「涙の誓い」が「なみちか」で、「ジョニーの子守唄」は「じょんころ」。そのまんまだけど・・）がヒットした時なので、割と遅かったのですが、当時同じようにアリスにハマった同級生が何人か居り、アリス同好会のようなものを作って、それ以前の曲なども聴き漁りました。名曲「遠くで汽笛を聴きながら」もとても良いですが、僕が特に好きだったのは、「二十歳の頃」と「青春時代」（森田公一とトップギャランの同名曲とは違います）です。あまり知られてないかな？
どちらも本人達が作った歌ではなかったと記憶しているのですが、恋愛のドキドキ感と失恋の苦さ・切なさが、中学生だった当時の僕の胸に迫るものがありました。もちろん、この2曲は今も好きですし、今でも歌えます。職場で歌うことはありませんが・・・。
それにしても、28年です。アリスの3人は、今年、全員還暦（60歳）です。
冒頭の番組で、チンペイさんがコンサート会場のお客さんに向かって、「僕らも年をとったけど、みんなも来てるねぇー」と言ってるシーンがありました。
そうなのです、何といっても28年ですから。つい先日、当時のアリス同好会の1人だった同い年の親友から、「子どもが結婚した」というメールをもらいました。来年には、じいさんになるかもしれない、とも。
僕も”来てますねぇー”。既に、 ”オッサン” です。
もう１つのニュースは、高村薫さんの新作 『太陽を曳く馬』 の発売。こちらは4年ぶり。
ミステリー・ファンの僕にとって、これほどのビッグ・ニュースはありません。何といっても、あの高村薫さんの新作です。しかも、それを知った新聞の広告欄には、この作品に合田刑事が登場することについて触れられているではありませんか！ すぐにネット書店に申し込み、上・下巻2冊を入手しました。
そこまでは良かったのですが、その後、大変なことがわかりました。今回の新作は、合田刑事シリーズであると同時に、福澤彰之シリーズでもあるとのこと。いや、むしろ「晴子情歌」から始まる福澤彰之シリーズ3部作の完結編という位置づけになるらしい・・・
「マークスの山」、「照柿」、 「レディ・ジョーカー」と続く合田刑事シリーズはすべて読んでいるのですが、少し趣の異なる「晴子情歌」はまだ読んだことがありません。・・・「晴子情歌」は、ミステリーではないので。それに続く「新・リア王」も読んでません。
こういうことには完璧を期したい僕としては、それを知ってしまった以上、今からでも「晴子情歌」と「新・リア王」を読まないわけにはいきません。どちらも単行本では上・下巻もので、とてもボリュームのある作品です。しかも、ご存知の方はご存知だと思いますが、ドストエフスキーと並び称せられるほどに、圧倒的に精緻で、時として難解な、職人技によって文章を紡がれる高村薫さんの作品です（だからこそ読み終わったときの感動も大きいわけですが）。
「太陽を曳く馬」 にたどり着けるのは、いつになることやら。
ミステリーの話ついでに、蛇足ながら。
つい最近、エドガー・アラン・ポーの「モルグ街の殺人」を読みました。推理小説の祖とも言われる古典です。この作品の存在自体は、知らない人の方が少ないのではないでしょうか。僕と同年代で酒飲み友達のTちゃんは、小学生の頃に何度か読んだと言ってました。僕が読んだのは、今回が初めてです。ミステリー・ファンだとか言っておきながら、お恥ずかしい限りです。しかも、この作品がこういう内容（想像を絶する犯人であること）だったとは、今更のようにそれを知り、ますます恥ずかしくなりました。
いや、それにしても、これって・・・

There are some interesting points in time in that article but I don't know if I see all of them center to middle . There is some validness but I will hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner likewise.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

It looks to me that this site doesnt download on a Motorola Droid. Are other folks having the same problem? I enjoy this blog and dont want to have to skip it when Im away from my computer.
