皆さん「カッピーラ」というものをご存知ですか？
「カッピーラ」とは、ルームフレグランス（芳香剤）のことで、細長いグラスにフレグランスオイルを2～3㎝程入れて、そのグラスの中に香りを吸い上げるための棒（竹ひご）を数本さして、そこから香りが漂うというものです。
先日、義理の姉からプレゼントしてもらい、初めて「カッピーラ」というものを知りました。香りの種類は、「アイオロス島の海風」です。（全くイメージできないですよね）
早速、寝室に置いてみたところ、インテリアとしてもお洒落で、香り（シトラスとフルーツの香り？）もきつすぎず、とてもいい感じになりました。
それからは、毎日「カッピーラ」に癒されながら眠っています。
ところで、香りの効果については、科学的に解明されており、香りの種類によって人間に与える効果が違うそうですね。
● オレンジ
神経の緊張とストレスを解消、胃腸の不調を整える 等
● ブラックペッパー
筋肉痛、肩こり、疲れを緩和、食欲促進 等
● バラ
2日酔いの解消、咳を静める効果等
● ライム
風邪等の発熱を冷ます効果、免疫系の感染症を抑止等
● ラベンダー
高い血圧を下げる効果、捻挫・リウマチ等の治癒促進等
「カッピーラ」をきっかけに、香りの効果について興味を持つようになりました。今後は他の種類のフレグランスオイルも試してみたいと思っています。
