OJTならぬ「OGT」、オン・ザ・ゲーム・トレーニング。
初めに断っておきます。こんな言葉、見たことも聞いたこともありません。造語です。
このところ、週末は長男（小5）のサッカーに付き合うことが多くなっています。
長男が所属するクラブチームの練習場への送迎と、そのついでの観戦などです。
練習のうち月に2回くらいは、よそのクラブチームとのトレーニングマッチ（練習試合）です。
先週の土曜日もトレーニングマッチでした。
その先週土曜日の話。
試合中、相手に取り囲まれてうまくパスを出せなかった子や、トラップミスをした子が、試合中にもかかわらずコーチから呼ばれ、一旦ピッチ（コート）の外に出されるという場面が何度か見られました。
外に呼び出されて何をしていたかというと、コーチからのマンツーマン指導です。うまくできなかったそのシーンを再現し、コーチがそんなときはこうすればいい、と実際にボールを使ってテクニックを教え、その子にやらせたり、時として、「いまのシーンはどうすれば良かった？」と本人に考えさせたり。
そんなことをやってました。試合中にもかかわらず。
鉄は熱いうちに・・・ではないですが、試合中、一番ホットな瞬間にマンツーマンで指導を受ける、というこのやり方。こういう光景を見るのは今回が初めてでしたが、これはいい。そう思いました。
試合中に監督やコーチが檄を飛ばすことは普通にありますが、それとはインパクトが違います。
なにせ、やったばっかりですから、指導を受ける子も教えられることがスーっと頭と体に入っていくのではないでしょうか。
なるほど。これはビジネスにも応用できるかも。
OGT。
ただ1つネックなのは、何せ試合中、ゲームは動いているので、コーチからの指導には上の空、ボールの行方ばかり気になってしまう、という子も中には居た、ということでしょうか。
